Use CourseSales.com as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

We have the following features that enable CourseSales.com, to serve as a basic CRM package to manage the pipeline of enquiries and targeted campaigns to sales and further promotion to existing students. While not specifically designed as a CRM package the following features include sufficient information to do pipeline management. Alternatives are sugarCRM, Zoho or Salesforce which are full featured CRM packages. We are familiar with these and are happy to further integrate into these systems.

Notes on documents

(enrolments, enquiries etc) with history and records of date/user information for each note - this is a free text area that administration or sales staff can add comments and records of conversations, The top 5 conversations show on the left hand side. These can be searched and at the highest level license can be edited.

Direct emails to students

You can create and customise email templates, using mail-merge short code replacement you can tailor template emails to students, trainers, administrators, venue organisers, or key customer contacts etc. PDFs can be created in the same way to create contracts, invoices, certificates or statements of attainment.

Notes on contacts

(student records) as with documents above, customised notes can be used to record conversations and other customer interactions. Additionally the contacts have history and records of date/user information for each note

Use this as a way to track those students who come from a particular organisation/account or from designated agents.

Linking contacts to documents

To easily see what enquires/enrollments a student has made from the contact record.

Task assignment to users

You can set a date on specific tasks for users (those who log into the administration portal). These are displayed on the Action list, which can be filtered to include that user’s actions.

Grouping contacts

Gather contacts into groups, these can include different information, eg billing contact vs student.

Search by company name

Get a list of all those people within a specific organisation by searching in the free text field for the organisation name

While we don’t have a specific ‘account’ view that links a group of customers it is possible to do this, though as documents are created by the customer the matching may need to be a manual activity. This could allow exporting and filtering by account name.

Sales team/person management

Sales persons can be allocated by using a specific role and user, or a separately maintained list of the sales team. This can be reported on including the payment method.
